GRAND OPENING CEREMONY OF KANSAI VIETNAM ENERGY SOLUTIONS CO., LTD WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF NEARLY 200 JAPANESE BUSINESSES AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE GOVERNMENTS OF JAPAN AND VIETNAM

Kansai Electric Power Group – KEPCO (Japan) recently held a grand opening ceremony for its subsidiary company – Kansai Vietnam Energy Solutions Co., Ltd (KESV) at Lotte Legend Hotel on September 30, 2022. In Japan, KEPCO is responsible for supplying electricity to the entire western region of the country – called the Kansai area, which includes major cities such as Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe. KEPCO has a diverse investment portfolio in power generation, including nuclear, thermal, hydro, and renewable energy. In Vietnam, KESV’s main business is providing energy management services (EMS), supporting customers in carbon reduction, offering energy-saving solutions, and trading in renewable energy certificates (I-REC).

Koa-Sha Vietnam is honored to have been entrusted with the production and operation responsibilities for this grand opening ceremony, together with KEPCO and KESV. The event was successfully organized with the presence of nearly 200 Japanese businesses in Vietnam, along with representatives from the governments of Vietnam and Japan, such as the Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vice Chairman of the Japanese Business Association in Ho Chi Minh City, the Director of the JETRO Ho Chi Minh City Office, the Head of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Deputy Director of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Director of the Investment Promotion Center for the South (IPCS)…
